In the first of several projects for Oakwood Energy, Kinmel Bay in Rhyl was a building on which its owners, Hapgoods Workspace, were looking to reduce monthly energy bills, lower its carbon footprint and build their business’s green credentials. Oakwood Energy were able to design and install a cutting-edge solar array that satisfied the customer’s requirements.
The projects projected payback period was less than 6 years and was expected to reduce the building’s monthly energy bill by an average of £400. Overall, the expected savings over the lifetime of the system was estimated to exceed £130,000.
